From the North or South (US-131)
-Turn west on Deadmans Hill Road off US-131 either 13 miles north of Mancelona or 9.5 miles south of Boyne Falls.
-Follow Deadmans Hill Road 2 miles to parking area and trailhead.
From the West (Gaylord)
-From I-75 Exit 282 in Gaylord head west on M-32 for 12.5 miles to junction with US-131. Turn left (south).
-Follow US-131 for 1.5 miles to Deadmans Hill Road on right. -Follow Deadmans Hill Road 2 miles to parking area and trailhead.
