Arches National Park, UT (7-2-08)
Arriving in Arches National Park was like stepping out into a dream. The terrain and climate were so unlike anything we had experienced in our lives that every turn of the road was amazing to us. The day was hot so we mainly toured the park from our car but we did manage to brave the heat for a couple short hikes. I've tried to identify formations as my guidebook allows but have likely got some wrong. I hope I can just share a bit of the wonder we experinced during our first visit to the desert west and this truly remarkable piece of God's creation...
