Hikes in the Midwest

Calling this the 'Hikes around the Great Lakes' page might be more appropriate. Growing up in Michigan, and spending some eight years there in adulthood, allowed me to explore just about every corner of that 'Greatest' of Great Lakes States. As such, the majority of the hikes here will hail from one or the other of its two peninsulas.  Other states in the region I've explored as well, however, include: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, & Wisconsin...within which I've been offered a surprisingly diverse palate of hiking opportunities...

If the North Woods, freshwater lakes, or open prairies are your thing, you're sure to find some interesting places in these albums to explore...
