This pretty little trail is tucked away in the southeastern corner of Otsego County. Along its 2.5 mile length you'll find a number of different habitats and pass no less than four lakes and ponds. I chose this particular hike at this particular time because, in this winter without snow, I figured the best bet for finding a bit of the white stuff was in Otsego County which is typically the snow capital of Northern Michigan. Alas, even here there was barely enough to cover the ground and I had to keep the snowshoes in the trunk for at least a little while longer. Nonetheless, it was still a very pleasant walk...join me, if you will...
