US Highway 131-Deadman's Hill Road Junction
The unassuming little sign most people miss as they travel US-131. A couple miles south of M-32.
Look cold? It was. But I couldn't ignore the beautiful blue skies that are so rare this time of year.
Um...Where's the Hill? That's what I thought the first time I visited Deadman's Hill. The fact is the "hill" is more of an escarpment so the summit is rather flat.
Was it plowed up to this point?
By the looks of all the snowmobile tracks I won't be alone.
Parking Area - In summer you can drive up to within a quarter mile of the overlook.

The wild Jordan River Valley from atop Deadman's Hill. The valley contains around 20 miles of hiking trails and one of Michigan's finest canoeing rivers.
