Grass River Natural Area is a place I keep coming back to, and for good reason. The place never disappoints! Well maintained trails and boardwalks pass through just about every major ecosystem found in northern lower Michigan and, as such, it is home to a dizzying array of flora and fauna. Each season brings something new and unique. Hoping to pad my collection of wildflowers this season, I hope this will be the first of a number of hikes here allowing me to gather a complete-ish collection of what the natural area has to offer...
