Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park
A winter afternoon exploring Old Mill Creek near Mackinaw City. In the summer costumed interpreters introduce visitors to life at the mill in the 18th and 19th Centuries. In the winter the park is closed and it looked to me like very few folks take the short walk in to enjoy the buildings at a quieter time. I also took the time to hike the 2 mile loop up around Mill Creek. The nature trail was both pretty and informative...
