Florida Hikes

From a hiking standpoint, Florida is a different animal entirely.  It's natural environments are so completely unique from other parts of the country that a visit to one of this state's trails is always a fascinating experience for me.  As a red-headed northern boy with an aversion for heat and humidity, hiking in Florida is reserved for those few fleeting winter months when I have less probability of melting.  From the Keys to the Everglades to Ocala National Forest the albums on this page will give you an idea of what this state has to offer those who wander off the beaten tourist path...
