Badlands National Park - Rim Road Tour

I know, this isn't a hike, but for lack of a better place to put it, I include the album here. The Badlands and Sage Creek Rim Roads linked our entry point to the Badlands in the east at Cedar Pass to our base camp at Sage Creek on the west side. Along this drive we were treated to just about every bit of eye candy that the Badlands could serve up. One could literally spend days photographing the scenery and wildlife along this 35 mile stretch of road but unfortunately we only had about an hour. Therefore, many of the shots in this album were taken from a moving vehicle so there are a few quality issues...nevertheless, I think it is a good representation of what this amazing park offers. I only hope someday I can return and explore it more...
